The Russian Postal Service's first automated regional sorting facility in the Moscow Region was built by Elsag Spa, an Italian company. This center, capable of handling up to three million mailings daily, will be the first and primary Russian Postal Service sorting facility to serve most of the Central Federal District, which has a population of about twenty-six million. The center will cover Moscow, Moscow Region, Tver Region, Ivanovo Region, Smolensk Region, Ryazan Region, Tula Region, Vladimir Region and the Kaluga Region. Logopark is a multi-purpose customs and logistical center located at the junction of Vyborgskoe Highway, Gorskoe Highway and the Petersburg Beltway. The terminal's total area is 60 ha. This facility was built in late 2008, and is now the largest logistical center in Europe, with total warehouse area of 1,100,000 m2. The center helped create nine thousand jobs, and its official opening was attended by the President of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbaev. Thermopanel sandwich panels were used for the center's facing. Thermosteps-MTL produced one million square meters of these panels for the first stage of the project, which was completed in 2006, thus becoming the first Russian sandwich panel manufacturer that was able to achieve such an output volume.

The first phase of the Q-Park Kazan Logistical Center was opened March 9, 2009. It was the first warehousing project implemented by Quinn Group in Russia, with the participation of RDS (a developer), Monotek (a contractor) and Cushman & Wakefield Stiles & Riabokobylko. The terminal is located 25 km from the Republic's capital, close to Kazan international Airport and the Kazan-Orenburg federal highway, which provides transit to Moscow, Samara, Yekaterinburg, Nizhny Novgorod and Ufa.
