JSC Kvarts quarries and beneficiates silica sand from the unique Tashla field, one of the largest European silica sand fields, discovered in 1934 in Sengiley district, Ulyanovsk region. Sand from this deposit conforms with the most stringent glass industry standards. In accordance with the table taken from an international geology handbook the Tashla field is considered the third world's cleanest silica sand field after Gegenbock (Germany) and Fontainebleau (France) fields. Thermopanel sandwich panels were used as building envelopes for the new factory construction phase in 2010.

Leningrad Nuclear Power Plant is located 80 km to the west of St. Petersburg on the coast of the Gulf of Finland of the Baltic sea. The plant is comprised of 4 unit with the power of 1000 MW each. A total of over 8 000 sq.m. of Thermopanel sandwich panels was supplied by CJSC Thermopanel-SPb, an authorized Thermosteps-MTL partner in St. Petersburg, over 1,5 years.

A soft drink bottling plant was opened July 8, 2009 by PepsiCo and PBG, its largest bottler, in Domodedovo, Moscow Region. Upon installation of all production equipment, this plant will become the largest soft drink producing facility in Europe, and the world's largest Pepsi bottler. Its annual capacity is expected to be 2.1 billion liters. One hundred eighty billion US dollars were invested in construction and equipment for this plant.
