Thermopanel sandwich panels in Miass
30 august 2010Pioner Investment Group LLC initialized its project for construction of a 33000 m2 Kristall shopping plaza in Miass, Chelyabinsk region, in 2008. This project is special, first and foremost, in choosing the location of the new center.
Although the population of Miass is only 179 thousand inhabitant, its unique and advantageous location made it the center of Chelyabinsk mining industry. In addition to that, Miass has long become a resort area with its large South Urals lakes, among them Turgoyak and Kisegach. As a consequence, the Miass district became the favorite spot for building country houses and cabins and spending time in holiday hotels and recreation centers. As a result, the total number of inhabitants populating the area within 30-minutes' driving distance from Miass is currently about 500 thousand.
The economic situation in Miass has recently shown signs of improvement. There are more than 2 600 companies and enterprises in the city.
Kristall plaza will be the largest shopping plaza in Miass. The total limit of investments in the project is currently 750 million rubles. The center comprises four elevated and one basement levels. Axial are of a single floor will be 6 400 m2. The center will house three cinema halls, a pool club, 8 bowling lanes, a coffee shop, a sports cafe, an entertainment zone for children, a slot machine zone and a shopping space where one can buy food and other goods. The design of the center uses efficient planning to locate a parking area for 600 cars, establish a zone where shopping carts and bicycles could be parked, demarcate walkways on the same level with the parking area and even set up green spaces.
At present the assembly of metal framework and floor structures is nearing completion, and the phase of glazing and utilities construction is underway. Building envelopes assembly has been launched this August. A total of 7136 sq.m. of Thermopanel sandwich panels manufactured by JSC Thermosteps-MTL are used as building envelopes for this project. Sandwich panels are supplied through Thermosteps-Chelyabinsk LLC, an authorized JSC Thermosteps-MTL partner in Chelyabinsk.
The project is scheduled to be commissioned in late 2010.
