MAGGI® for Russia
12 october 2011Nestle is implementing another major industrial project in Russia. This time they are building a factory that will produce MAGGI® - branded products in Vyazniki district, Vladimir region. As soon as the first phase of the construction is completed by the end of 2011, the factory will manufacture over 30 000 tons of MAGGI® - branded products per year.
The amount of investment in the first phase of the factory will be 60 million Swiss francs (1,6 billion rubles). The launch of the Vyazniki factory will create 500 new jobs for the district.
Stefan De Loecker, Nestle Russian CEO, explains, «We chose Vladimir region as the location for our new factory because of its friendly investment climate and good relations between the regional government and Nestle. We believe that Russian market offers great opportunities in the long run so we continue investing in local industry». New cutting edge technology enterprises in the region will intensify development of the regional economy and increase living standards in the region.
Nestle as one of the leading global food manufacturers operates 449 factories in 83 countries. Over the last 15 year Nestle managed to considerably expand its presence in the Russian market for such products as coffee, chocolate, spices, breakfast cereals and convenience food. The new factory in Vladimir region will be the fourteenth Nestle factory in Russia.
The factory utilizes Thermopanel sandwich panels manufactured by JSC Thermosteps-MTL as a construction material. These panels conform to strict health and safety requirements specified by the customer for construction materials. A gapless combination of wall and corner sandwich panels creates a closed and uniform heat circulation around the building framework.
A total of over 7 000 sq.m. of sandwich panels is supplied by Stroykomplekt LLC, an authorized Thermosteps-MTL partner in Moscow.
