Hard Coat™ (F6000) performance coating
Hard Coat™ performance coating is designed by Akzo Nobel, the world's leading producer of paints and coatings, specially for exterior structures with highly wear resistant surfaces such as sandwich panels, corrugated board and steel roofing.
Hard Coat™ is currently the hardest performance coating on the market. It is a polyester topcoat with low gloss and ceramic pigments. The combination of polyester resin and ceramic pigments create a fine-grained enamel texture, and it is this factor that makes Hard Coat™ ultrastable.
The coating demonstrates better resistant to back impact and weather than traditional polyester coatings. It's enhanced wear- and gliding resistance helps reduce the number of defects during transportation, processing and installation. The material now has no scratches, and one can even step on it. The use of this new coating allows wider range of processing temperatures, and that is a useful feature for seasonal installation. Hard Coat™ guarantees that the color you choose always remains the same, and matt surface will give contemporary architecture pieces a more refined look.
The life of Hard Coat™ under normal operating conditions is over 20 years, and it will retain its protective properties for 40 years.

AGF (V750) performance coating
AGF (V750) performance coating is a clear polymer lacquer with silicon nanoparticles. The unique feature of this coating is that it protects the surface from unwanted paint stains. When unwanted paint is sprayed or applied onto the AGF layer, it can easily be removed. It is impossible to overestimate the importance of AGF lacquer use as protection coating for public buildings and structures such as shopping centers, sport venues and clubs.
AGF lacquer conforms to the best health standards in the industry and is an ecofriendly product. It provides a balanced arrangement of flexibility, hardness and wear resistance. AGF may be applied onto polyester primer of any color or onto a PVDF layer. Thickness of AGF-covered coating is 20% more than that of a traditional polyester coating. When applied onto polyester coating, AGF is not adsorbed and is highly resistant to chemicals. It outperforms PVDF coating in corrosion resistance, hardness and heat resistance. AGF coating life under normal operating conditions is over 15 years. This coating extends the life of the main performance coating that it covers.
Metallic Lacquer performance coating
Thermosteps-MTL recommends applying a special-purpose lacquer with an instant metallic effect onto smooth polyester coating. The lacquer can be used on any color at the customer's option.
Metallic Lacquer is based on polyester resin with metal particles as pigments. Light will reflect from the metal surface at various angles to create a spectacular effect and give the building a unique look.
