Fire-Resistant

Insulative Characteristics
Thermopanel sandwich panels for industrial use contain «Thermo» rockwool insulator, hence their excellent insulation rating. «Thermo» rockwool insulator's heat conductivity factor is as low as 0.038-0.041 W/(mK). The insulating effect is due primarily to air cavities, more specifically to the number and size of such cavities and the amount of interweaved fibers, which ensures air convection that transfers heat between the pores. So Thermosteps-MTL sandwich panels' insulating qualities are based on a low standard thermal conductivity of air in the fiber cavities.
Health Safety and Sanitary Characteristics
Thermopanel steel and basalt rock sandwich panels are manufactured from eco-friendly materials, i.e. «Thermo» basalt rockwool insulator, and have certificates of conformity to all relevant health and environment safety standards.

Sound-Absorbent

Thermo basalt rockwool, which is the basic element in Thermosteps-MTL sandwich panel structure, contains special water-repellent agents to help lower the water absorption coefficient to 1-1.5%. That is why water resistance of the basalt rockwool used in Thermopanel sandwich panels is superior to that of other types of rock fiber.
Durable
