Assembly Guidelines for Integrated Modular Panels
It is advisable to ensure that all materials necessary for trouble-free installation are available at the site prior to installation.
Installation should occur only after the supporting structure is in final position. Prior to installation you should check size accuracy and alignment, and ensure that the structure does not deviate from the final position. You should also examine the supporting structure’s surfaces and check its geometrics.
Before installation inspect design drawings and the project execution plan (PEP).
Framework Assembly
Start installation from the building corner. Begin mounting bearing elements after you calculate supporting structure geometrics deviation from the design values. Spacing between bearing elements is specified in the design layout. Dimensions of the bearing elements depend on deviation of geometrics. Elements are fastened to reinforced concrete frames with anchor screws (anchor type and spacing between anchors are specified in design layout). Fastening to steel structures is carried out by means of welding, bolted connections or self-tapping screws. Insulation sections installed at façade level are fastened to supports with coupling bolts.
Installation of Heat Insulator, Vapor Barrier Coating Facing Material and Diffusion Coating Facing Material
After installation of insulation sections, begin installing the insulant, the facing material, the vapor barrier film and diffusion film. Installation order of these elements depends on the specific building. It is advisable to first install the outer paneling; you will need to assemble the outer facing material to do so. Galvanized painted steel sheet in various shapes is used as facing material. Next, attach the insulant, vapor barrier film and inner facing.
The following tools are required for assembly work:
- perforating tool
- adjustable torque screwdriver
- level
- drill
- tape measure
