Integrated Modular Panels

The integrated modular system is a framework structure including insulation sections and inner and outer paneling with insulation material between. Structure thickness is determined by the customer, depending on the load and heat transfer resistance required. Rock wool sheets manufactured by Thermosteps-MTL are used as insulation material.

Description of Integrated Modular System Elements

The system consists of the following structural elements:

• insulation section – perforated galvanized roll-formed structural sections. Sizes are custom-made in accordance with a specific design
• rock wool insulation material manufactured by Thermosteps-MTL, with a density of 40-140 kg/m³. Insulant thickness and density depends on the specific design
• self-tapping screws, rivets – to fasten facing material to sections (Ø4,2x13, Ø4,8x22 self-tapping screws) etc
• anchor screws, manufactured by SKS or a similar company, to fasten structure to the foundation, base, reinforced concrete frames
• vapor barrier film – a film designed to form an internal vapor barrier. Vapor barrier can be attached to structures both vertically and horizontally on the inside of the insulation layer. Width of overlapping should be at least 10 cm for vertical or horizontal attachment. Joints are sealed with adhesive tape
• facing material – galvanized painted shaped steel sheet (C10, CC10, C21) is used as facing material
